Designing the Foundation for Amplify's Unified Math Suite Report

Led the 0-to-1 design of Amplify's unified math reporting — from the 2024 back-to-school pilot of the core ADM report alone to the 2025 back-to-school release of the full math suite, bringing core, mCLASS math assessment, and Boost supplementals into one picture of a student's learning.

Sensemaking Layer: Exploring What AI-Driven Insights Could Look Like for Teachers

Scoped a 0-to-1 AI-insights vision across the whole platform, aligned a cross-functional team through a mid-project pivot from math to literacy content, and watched the design pattern outlive the shelved project when another team reused it months later.

Math Student Thinking Report: A New Category of Assessment Reporting

Designed the student thinking report for Amplify's mCLASS math benchmark assessment — surfacing the thinking patterns behind student answers, not just right and wrong, so teachers could group students by how they reason and plan small-group instruction around it.

CKLA Data-Driven Differentiation: Insights & Recommendations

Joined a CKLA-originated insights and recommendations initiative as the sensemaking advisor, then inherited it — settling the pattern it had been missing and carrying it through to handoff.

Co-Write: A Student Writing Experience for the Future Classroom

Rebuilt a senior leader's AI co-writing prototype in two weeks, working directly in her codebase — a new information hierarchy, a redesigned student writing journey, and a full interface pass. It became the version shown in the company-wide vision presentation.

Math Individual Student Report: One Student, One Clear Picture

I led the Individual Student Report end-to-end, from early discovery through its March 2026 commercial release, re-scoping mid-flight when the timeline shifted. The hardest problem wasn't what to show a teacher — it was what to leave out.

Data Visualization Component Library: Reusable Patterns for Every Report

I co-built Amplify's data visualization component library from scratch with the design-system lead — the reusable, scalable patterns behind the tables and charts in every math and literacy classroom report.

Literacy Classroom Reporting: CKLA, Caminos, and Caregiver Letters

Grew a pilot-year CKLA assessment report into a connected family of literacy reports — Caminos, caregiver letters, assignable practice, open-ended responses — built on the system behind Amplify's math reporting.

Boost Math Pathways: A Planning Space for Small-Group Intervention

Took a vision-stage concept for Boost Math's intervention pathways into a shipped educator planning space — leading the second round of UX iteration, then owning the handoff that got it out for back-to-school.

ADM Core Math Report: An AI-Prototyped Improvement Plan

After noticing the gap myself, I audited existing research, ran 6 self-initiated biweekly workshops with cross-functional team leads, and built Cursor prototypes that became the centerpiece of a VP-level leadership pitch.
